Induction braking – precise, quiet and long-lasting

The electromagnetic induction brake forms the core of the Tour 600. This gives it exceptionally precise control over the resistance level with faster responsiveness to adjustments when compared to conventional magnetic braking systems. The brake is also incredibly quiet and nearly maintenance-free since it does not involve contact of mechanical components, resulting in a longer useful life, better concentric run and pleasantly smooth pedalling feeling even after years of frequent use.

Ergonomic comfort for any body type

The low entry height of the frame makes it easy to get on and off the bike. A wide, cushioned saddle ensures riders are seated comfortably for lengthy workout sessions. Extensive adjustment options for the saddle and handlebars allow different users to find the optimal seating position for their body proportions. These factors together mean that users can train efficiently over longer sessions with minimal joint strain and discomfort.

Precise resistance controls for effective, watt-based training

The Kettler exercise bike Tour 600 offers two different workout modes. In the watt-controlled mode, users can set a wattage value, and the resistance will adjust to keep the output power constant independent of the cadence, i.e. pedalling speed – ideal for controlled cardio training or performance-orientated training plans. Alternatively, the resistance load can be set directly so the watt power increases with a faster cadence. The settings for the watt programme starts as low as 20 watts and can be fine-tuned in 1-watt increments, allowing for incredibly precise training.

Wide variety of programmes

To provide more motivation and variation, the training computer offers riders a total of 37 different workout programmes. Aside from the 30 gradient profiles, users can create custom programmes or select various target programmes for the time, distance, burnt calories etc. The heart rate controlled programmes help users exercise within certain heart rate zones to effectively pursue particular fitness goals. Wireless connectivity allows users to ride virtual routes in Kinomap or use other interactive fitness apps.

The large 7” screen is impressively easy to operate and clearly displays all important training data including time, distance, speed, watts, rpm, calories and heart rate.
