Sports programmes

The TM40 supports you in a varied running workout. With 32 running programmes to choose from, you can always set new training stimuli. The programme selection is clearly displayed on the console, and you can use the quick selection buttons to adjust your training session at any time.

Well cushioned

Unlike running outdoors on tarmac or other hard surfaces, your joints are not under so much strain on the treadmill. The reason for this is the shock absorption under the deck. The TM40 is equipped with an elastomer shock absorption system that has three cushioning zones. So in every area of the running belt, your pace will be well cushioned.

Extras for your training session

For a beginner's treadmill, the TM40 offers features that are quite respectable in this price segment: speakers and audio input, a USB port, drink holder and a fan for cold air. You can also place your tablet on the console – great for watching a series as you exercise.

Darwin treadmill TM40 for treadmill training at home

With a top speed of 16 km/h and an incline that can be adjusted up to 10%, the Darwin treadmill TM40 is ideal for easy running or walking with varying inclines. Thanks to its compact dimensions, it also fits into smaller fitness rooms or your living room. Practical: after training, the running surface can be folded up and the treadmill can be rolled away, thanks to its built-in castors.

Excellent, sophisticated equipment

Solid, sophisticated equipment made from good quality material makes home running workouts a very pleasant experience. The Darwin TM40 is very easy to use, with a total of 32 running programmes is child's play, and the speed and incline can be easily adjusted while running using the quick selection buttons.

For example, there are 24 pre-defined programmes in which the incline and speed are pre-defined for each section. The profiles are clearly displayed on the cockpit. Of course, there is also a manual mode available, which most closely resembles running in nature. Integrated heart-rate programmes are included for particularly effective training. The computer adjusts either the incline or the speed, depending on the optimal heart-rate range for your training goal.

When it comes to features, the Darwin treadmill TM40 clearly stands out from the competition in its price range. For example, the TM40 has a two-speed fan that provides some cooling while running. There is also a USB-A port and an audio input on the side. The USB connection on the side can be used to charge your smartphone, for example. The audio input (3.5 mm jack plug) allows you to play music through the cockpit speakers.

Gutes Laufband mit ausreichender Dämpfung und einfacher Bedienung. Als Ergänzung im Winter oder bei schlechtem Wetter gut geeignet. Kleines Minus: die integrierten Lautsprecher und Lüfter sind eher mäßig.

Preis/Leistung passt. Das Laufband läuft ruhig und gleichmäßig. Sehr einfach in der Handhabung. Der Aufbau war kein Problem.

Das Laufband Darwin TM 40 ist ein leicht zu bedienendes Laufband. Der Aufbau zu Zweit, war schnell erledigt. Es läuft ruhig und gelenkschonend.

Das TM 40 Laufband ist optimal zum Walken und Joggen geeignet. Es hat eine ausreichend große Lauffläche und super Dämpfung. Die Einstellungsmöglichkeiten sind vielfältig. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung! Ich bin mehr als zufrieden!

Zu diesem Preis bekommt man ein gutes Laufband , welches sich leicht und Platzsparend benutzen lässt. Als Alternative zum laufen im freien gut nutzbar dazu eine einfache Bedienung

Wir haben es als Geschenk für meine Schwiegermutter (80) gekauft und sie ist begeistert. Dadurch hat sich ihre Sicherheit beim Gehen deutlich verbessert. Es wird also von ihr nur zum flotten gehen benutzt. Für ein intensives Lauftraining würde ich ein anderes Modell nehmen. Da ich das Modell Lifefitness T5 gewohnt bin. Das Darwin ist dennoch sehr stabil und bietet ein tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Auch die Konsole beinhaltet alle nötigen Informationen. Ein kleines Detail: Lüftung und Lautsprecher sind eher dürftig.... [Read more]

Spedition unverbindlich, unfreundlich und frech

Das Laufband ist völlig in Ordnung, so wie ich es mir erhofft hatte. Die Lieferung dauerte sehr lange, aber okay, habe ich in Kauf genommen. Habe öfter mal nachgefragt, weil ich insgesamt wohl vier Wochen warten musste. Aber alles kein Problem. Bekam dann eine Mail mit einem Link der Spedition (DHL) um den Stand der Dinge abrufen zu können. Montag kam das Laufband in Berlin an. Am Dienstag hatte ich, während eines Zahnarzttermins zwei Anrufe. Habe die Nummer gegoogelt, DHL Spedition und dort angerufen. Vergeblich. Am nächsten Tag habe ich dann diverse andere Telefonnummern des Unternehmens, von Zentrale bis in die Fachabteilungen angerufen. Ohne Erfolg. Einen Liefertermin muss man ja planen - bin beruftstätig und nicht permanent vor Ort. Freitag morgen, 9 Uhr 30, ich zum Glück zu Hause, wegen Home Office, klingelte der Spediteur. Einmal. Bin nicht so schnell an die Tür gekommen, weil ich im Begriff war zu duschen. Zweites klingeln an der Tür und dann ein Anruf über Handy. Ein sehr genervter Typ. "Er habe hier eine Lieferung, ob ich die annehme"" Habe ihm gesagt das ich überrascht bin, weil kein Liefertermin vereinbart wurde, es nur ein glücklicher Zufall ist da ich vor Ort bin, aber gerne nach unten komme, ich müsse mir nur kurz etwas anziehen. Unten angekommen lag dort bereits ein 82 Kilo Paket. Ich habe den Fahrer nett gefragt ob er mir helfen könne, das Paket in den Hausflur zu bekommen. "Ich trage hier nichts" seine freundliche Antwort. "Entweder sie unterschreiben, oder ich nehme das wieder mit". Habe dann versucht, die 82 Kilo wenigstens in den Hausflur zu bekommen. Der Fahrer, ein wirkliches Arschloch, war nicht mal bereit mir die Tür aufzuhalten, aus Versicherungsgründen. Die Spedition, auch wenn Lieferung nur bis an den Bordstein geht, muss der Kunde nicht so unfreundlich behandelt werden. Bin selbst Betriebswirt in Personalverantwortung. Mit einem solchem Fahrer - es geht ja um Dienstleistung und freundlichen Umgang mit dem Kunden - würde ich nicht mehr beschäftigen. ... [Read more]
